Photographer Sessions

Hey photographers! We’re also opening up time slots for you to reserve our sunflower field for your clients’ photography sessions!

Here’s how it works:

  • Each session will be 1 hour long
  • Photographer will be charged $125 per hour plus taxes and fees.
  • Each session will be limited to 4 photographers per hour.
  • Photographers may bring as many clients as they want in their time slot. There will be no extra cost.
*Note: Due to the drought this year, our sunflower field is smaller than it has been in years past. We will likely only have our classic yellow sunflowers this year, instead of the 40 different varieties like we’ve had before.

We have our field broken up into 3 sections

First, we have the “Big Field of Yellow” this is planted full of the classic yellow sunflowers that will mature to about 5-6 feet tall.

Then we have our “Field of Beauty” These are our ornamental Sunflowers. In this field you will find many different types of sunflowers. In total you will find 35 different sunflowers from white to red. Some have many different colors in them. We small sunflowers that will fit in your hand to large  that are bigger then your head. Our favorite is the Cooper Queen, it is a large sunflower that has the most beautiful face and it will still fit in a vase with other sunflowers.

In our last section you will find our field of Giants. In this field you will find sunflowers that are much taller. These Sunflowers grow between 9-12 feet tall. This is where we keep our biggest sunflowers. Some of them you can even eat their seeds.

Haunted Maze

Fall on the Farm

Special note about our corn maze this year:

This year has been an extremely difficult year for us as farmers. In the 23 years we have been growing corn mazes we have never seen a year like this one. We have had no measurable rain here on the farm since April. Unfortunately we do not have a corn maze this year. The drought was too much for it, we replanted it twice and it just would not grow. However even though we don’t have a corn maze we still have lots of other fun activities and plenty of pumpkins. Our pumpkin crop is beautiful.

We will still have a haunted maze this year. It will be a little different then in years past but I think it is shaping up to be a great haunt. Lots of new props and scenes. We think you will have a great time. There will be lots of scares to be had.

Even though we don’t have a corn maze this year. We know you will still have a great time. Thank you for your understanding and supporting our family farm. If you are wondering how to help support us in this difficult year. Come out to the farm, we have lots of other great activities such as spun chairs, wall ball, bubble barn, jump pad and so much more!
